CBSA HOLDS ANNUAL MEETING JANUARY 10, 2012

UNOFFICIAL NOTES FROM THE ANNUAL MEETING:

The annual meeting was opened an 7pm. The minutes and treasurers reports were given and approved. Annual secretary's report was given.* Report on the FWP funding was given and last communication from them is that we will receive a check soon. The membership committee reported that the club has 149 individual members. The Friends of the NRA grant application will be up for review in Helena on Jan 29 and we should receive work on the results shortly after. The indoor range is being used by the 4H on Thursday nights and there has been open range Tuesday evenings 7-9PM. Pallet backers at the old range need replacing. All the tickets for the half beef raffle were sold and the the drawing was held. Keith Nelson was the winner. Elections for 2012--2013 directors was held and Shane, Art and Doug were re-elected. It was decided to change the regular monthly meetings to the secondMonday of every month. After no more business the meeting was adjourned. -je

CBSA OPENS INDOOR RANGE FOR AIR RIFLE AND ARCHERY

CBSA has opened the indoor range in the basement of TumbleWeed Studio. Thanks to Bill and Sandy and with the help of others and the Glacier Ct. 4H the range has been cleaned up and painted to accomodate 4H shooters and CBSA members.

NOVEMBER MEETING NOTES:

Unofficial notes:
The meeting was called to order at 7PM. Five directors were present. New members and renewals were presented and accepted. Treasures report and minutes were presented and accepted. Details of a raffle were discussed. It was decided to hold a half a beef raffle to start as soon as tickets could be printed and to end late in January when the meat was all cut, wrapped and ready.
Indoor range details were discussed and it was decided the CBSA pay for indoor archery / air rifle range from Dec to April. The Glac. Ct. Shooting Sports will be using the range at reduced rates on Thursday nights.
Mike reported on dirtwork progress at the new range location. A huge amount of earth is being move for impact berms and the firing line. Watch for pictures of progress.
501-3c status was discussed and it was decided to wait.
